Horizon was established in October 2023 with an inclusive mindset and a diverse range of opportunities. It was founded by HRZ Baymax and HRZ Winter, individuals who possessed a profound passion for gaming and cultivating friendships. Initially conceived as a gathering place for friends, Horizon later evolved into a community where individuals could come together to socialize and engage in gaming activities.
All members of Horizon are entitled to exercise the privilege of the "Open Door Policy" in their interactions with any leaders within the Horizon Community. Nevertheless, it is expected that members adhere to the established "chain of command" and duly report to the leadership positioned directly above their respective rank. In the event that a member finds themselves apprehensive about a leader who holds a higher rank, they may respectfully request the intervention of a superior leader to address and resolve their concern.
To ensure the seamless and impartial functioning of our community, we strictly prohibit individuals in leadership positions from exercising authority or making business-related decisions regarding a member with whom they share a direct romantic or familial bond.
All members of the Horizon Clan are strongly encouraged to modify their gamertag by incorporating HRZ; however, it is not obligatory for membership within our esteemed community. Those aspiring to join our esteemed leadership team must, however, demonstrate their commitment by representing HRZ in their gamertag before attaining the esteemed rank of General.
We kindly request that all clan members of HRZ ensure that their accurate gamertag and rank are used as their designated nickname or username within the HRZ Official Discord.
The entirety of our website, including the logo and all accompanying works, is the exclusive intellectual property of Horizon Community. Permission for usage shall only be granted upon proper credit attribution and solely for non-commercial purposes. It is strictly prohibited to engage in any form of profit-making activities, such as selling, reproducing, or otherwise exploiting our brand, logo, likeness, or content, without explicit authorization.
Individuals who opt to depart from the Horizon organization are granted a designated period of 24 hours during which they have the opportunity to rejoin HRZ. Those individuals who exceed the aforementioned 24-hour timeframe may still seek readmission, provided that their departure was amicable. However, it should be noted that they will not be reinstated at their previous rank and must engage in a conversation with HRZ management before being considered for membership reinstatement with Horizon. It is essential to acknowledge that the leadership reserves the right to revoke this privilege at any given time and may exercise this discretion accordingly.
The members affiliated with the esteemed Horizon Clan possess the privilege of requesting a squad transfer at their discretion, without any constraints on the grounds or motivations behind such a request. In accordance with the principles of fairness and inclusivity, the leadership of the Clan is obligated to make reasonable efforts to accommodate these transfer requests. It is worth noting, however, that the transfer option should not be exploited as a means to evade or bypass disciplinary measures. Should any member be found to abuse the transfer system by making excessive and unwarranted transfer requests, appropriate actions may be taken, which could result in the member being prohibited from initiating any further transfer requests. (Basically must have a good reason why you want to transfer over.)
At Horizon, our utmost priority lies in ensuring that every individual feels embraced, at ease, and above all, enjoys themselves. Occasionally, there may arise prospects within games or platforms that are unfamiliar or unknown to us. In such instances, should a member desire to establish their own squad for a game that is presently absent from our community, they are encouraged to adhere to the established hierarchy and approach the leadership to formally request this opportunity. (So we can add more games for everyone.)
There are several types of Leave of Absence (LOA) that members can choose from when taking a leave. Long-Term Leave - Members can request a Long-Term LOA at any time. To request a long-term leave, one must address the squad leader. Once the squad leader approves the Long-Term LOA, the member is relieved of all duties and responsibilities. A Long-Term LOA is valid for a period of 1 to 90 days, or up to 3 months. Upon returning from the leave, the member is required to contact the squad leader or their chain of command to be assigned to an available and necessary rank. It is important to note that the squad leader has the authority to deny a Long-Term LOA request if deemed necessary. Short-Term Leave - Members can request a Short-Term LOA at any time. To request a short-term leave, one must address the squad leader. Once the squad leader approves the Short-Term LOA, the member is relieved of all duties and responsibilities. A Short-Term LOA is valid for a period of 1 to 15 days, or up to 2 weeks. Upon returning from the leave, the member is expected to resume their activities within the Clan from where they left off. Similar to the Long-Term LOA, the squad leader has the authority to deny a Short-Term LOA request if necessary. Military Leave - Members can request a Military LOA at any time, and this request must be addressed to the squad leader. It is important to note that a Military LOA request should not be denied for any reason. Upon approval, the member will be relieved of all responsibilities within HRZ. A Military LOA is valid for a period of 1 to 365 days, or up to 1 year. When the member returns, they are required to report to the leadership to be assigned to the next available rank that is open and necessary.
No Cheating - Cheating in any form is strictly prohibited within our community. Regardless of the circumstances, we maintain a strong commitment to integrity and do not tolerate any kind of cheating. Chain of Command - Our community follows a hierarchical structure similar to that of the military. As such, we have implemented an open-door policy, allowing all members to communicate with their leaders while still adhering to the chain of command. It is imperative that every member, irrespective of rank, demonstrates respect towards one another and complies with the instructions of their superiors. Failure to follow the chain of command will result in appropriate disciplinary actions. Age Policy - HRZ is an exclusive community that extends invitations only to individuals aged 15 years or above. If a prospective member is below the age of 15, they must obtain approval from the Founder before joining. Respect - HRZ upholds a strong sense of family and mutual respect among its members. Even if you may not personally like someone, it is essential to maintain a respectful and professional demeanor at all times. Our primary focus is on gaming, and we do not entertain unnecessary drama. Harassment - HRZ is a gaming community that holds itself to a higher standard, and as such, we have a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of harassment, including sexual harassment, discrimination, or bullying. Violation of this rule will result in appropriate disciplinary measures, including the possibility of removal from the community. Sportsmanlike Conduct - We firmly believe in promoting sportsmanlike conduct within our community. Therefore, we expect all members to display a professional attitude during gaming sessions and other activities. We do not condone actions such as "Rage Quitting," degrading fellow teammates, or abandoning HRZ members. We strive to win or lose as a team, supporting and respecting one another throughout the process. Just Have Fun!
